Guidelines for Authors

1. Scope of the Journal

Jewel Journal of Scientific Research (JJSR) publishes original research articles, review papers, short communications, book reviews, forum articles, and letters in Agriculture, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Science, Ecology, Environmental Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Agroinformatics, Science Education, and other related multidisciplinary fields.

2. Originality of Manuscripts

Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished works and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions do not infringe upon any copyright or intellectual property rights.

3. Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts should be written in clear and concise English and prepared using Microsoft Word. The manuscript should be typed in Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing and standard page margins. The manuscript should contain the following sections where applicable:
• Title of the Paper
• Author(s) Name(s) and Affiliation(s)
• Abstract (Maximum 250 words)
• Keywords (3–6 words)
• Introduction
• Materials and Methods
• Results
• Discussion
• Conclusion
• Acknowledgements (if applicable)
• References

4. Abstract and Keywords

Each manuscript must include an informative abstract not exceeding 250 words. The abstract should briefly state the objective, methodology, major findings, and conclusion of the study. Authors should provide between three and six keywords immediately below the abstract.

5. Tables and Figures

Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively and cited appropriately within the text. All figures must be of high quality and accompanied by clear captions. Tables should have concise titles and should not duplicate information presented in the text.

6. References

References should be arranged alphabetically and formatted according to the latest edition of the APA referencing style. Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all citations and references.

7. Submission of Manuscripts

Authors should submit their manuscripts electronically through the journal's online submission system. All required metadata should be completed accurately during submission.

8. Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer-review process involving at least two independent reviewers. The Editorial Board reserves the right to accept, reject, or request revisions for any manuscript.

9. Publication Ethics

JJSR is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics. Authors must avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, and multiple submissions. Any manuscript found to violate ethical standards will be rejected.

10. Copyright

Authors retain responsibility for the content of their manuscripts. Upon acceptance, authors may be required to grant publication rights to the journal in accordance with the journal's copyright policy.
